Football Night in America is the studio pregame show usually preceding NBC's broadcasts of Sunday night and Wild Card Saturday National Football League (NFL) games starting in the 2006 National Football League season. The program always airs at 7 PM Eastern live from Studio 8G in the GE Building at Rockefeller Center in New York, where the NBC network has its headquarters.
For sixteen of the seventeen weeks of the NFL season, Football Night in America airs from 7 PM until 8:20 PM Eastern. Due to potential conflicts with the World Series airing on Fox, NBC's contract prevents it from airing a Sunday night game during the World Series. On those occasions, Football Night in America only airs for sixty minutes.
