Ra.One is an upcoming 2011 Hindi science fiction film directed by Anubhav Sinha. Ra.One is currently India's most expensive film to date and is expected to release in both 2D and 3D formats worldwide, along with its dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu and German. According to Khan, "Ra.One" means "Random Access – Version 1.0 and he is saying that the movie is for his kids as they love superhero movies ".The film was scheduled to be released on 3 June 2011, but was later pushed back due to extensive post production work. The film is set for release on October 26, 2011 .Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles. SRK is playing the role of G. One while the Arjun Rampal as the Ra. One. It also stars Shahana Goswami, Dilip Tahil and Chinese-American actor Tom Wu in supporting roles. The film is jointly produced under Khan's production company Red Chillies Entertainment and Eros International.
The first phase of filming began in India in March 2010 till May 2010 in Mumbai's Film City and Goa. The crew then moved on to London in June 2010 where the filming with the entire cast took place during July–August and has been completed. In an interview, Khan stated that the remaining portions would be completed in India & would require further 6 months of post production.

MusicRA.One’s music has been in the news for well over a year. That its music directors Vishal-Shekhar, were collaborating with Senegalese pop artiste Akon for a couple of songs ensured expectations were high.Chammak Challo…which Akon sings in Hindi both capably and with funny feeling.
Most interesting thing in this movie that singer Akon sang few songs in this movie in hindi. The singerarrived in India on March 8, 2010 and recorded two songs with composers Vishal-Shekhar.
