If you spotted the Canadian promo for Season 3, Episode 5 of The Vampire Diaries, “The Reckoning,” you know Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) will be locking lips. (We know, we know. You were all secretly hoping it was somehow Elena. Us too.)
Thanks to Watch With Kristin, we know for a fact it’s the vamp vixen who plants one on the elder Salvatore and not her high school doppelganger. It makes sense: At the end of last Thursday’s episode, Katherine invited Damon to become her partner-in-crime, and he obliged.
But don’t freak out just yet, Delena fans. While E! won’t reveal what happens on Damon’s end post-smooch, they say the pair’s little road trip won’t last long.
